About Lyle Beniga choreographing EXO - MAMA
EXO is SM Entertainment’s newest group. It consists of 12 members who are permanently in sub-units called EXO-K and EXO-M. EXO-K promotes in South Korea while EXO-M promotes in China. They perform the same songs and the same choreography but in different languages. However, the formations are also different.
For the showcase of EXO, all the members performed MAMA on one stage at the same time, and the choreography looked amazing. However, they’re not gonna perform together all the time since they are promoting in different countries.
So Lyle had to create formations that fit all 12 members, but the formations also had to look good in their individual sub-unit groups. Think about that. Big props to Lyle for an amazing job!
